The Garden House
2023-present
Criswell's Market Garden is currently operating at our residence in the town of Waynetown, Indiana. We have a .33 acre lot with a large garden for growing vegetables, flowers, and fruits for our roadside stand. We have a high tunnel where we grow heat loving crops and a wash station under cover. It's our intention to use our little homestead to continue learning and experimenting with the things we love the most about market gardening to one day open our own farm again to serve Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) customers and a farmers market.
History of the Garden
2020-2023
Criswell’s Market Garden is less than a half acre market garden owned and operated by Tyler and Allison Criswell. They started the garden after moving to the About Thyme Farm wedding venue property in Baileys Harbor in the fall of 2020. They live and work at the farm full time. The garden is sustained by a small community supported agriculture program of 40 shares per week for a 20 week growing season as well as the Baileys Harbor Farmers Market every Sunday from mid-May to mid-October then indoors from November to March.
